Underline Complete Cell Width And Not Just Text/Value Width In Excel

In this post we will see how we could underline entire cell width in excel and not just text/value width in excel.

Below figure explains what I am talking about, as you could see in column A, excel has underlined only the value width that we have in those cells and in column B, we have entire cell width underlined.

We will see here how to underline entire cell width in excel and not just the value width in them.

Step 1




Select the cells that you want to underline and click on comma as shown in the figure below.

After clicking Decrease decimal twice, excel will remove the decimal values.

Step 3

Now click on underline symbol as shown below or you could press keyboard shortcut Ctrl+U to underline the entire cell width.

You could see that we have underlined entire cell width in excel and not just the value width in the cell in excel.
