Remove Count Of From Pivot Table In Excel

In pivot  when we aggregate values we get a little prefix “Count of” in the column name which sometimes is undesirable and does not look presentable.

Let’s see how to get rid of “Count of” in pivot table field names in excel.

By default pivot table prefixes the column name with the string “Count of” while calculating some values in the pivot table as shown below.

We will see how to remove these by simply using a find and replace tool.

Select the headers in the pivot table and press Ctrl+H to get the Find and Replace tool and Replace “Count of” with anything (don’t type anything in Replace box) as shown below.

Now click Replace All at the bottom left corner.

You could see the word “Count of” has been removed.
