There are times when we want to insert some special symbol or characters in excel.
We will see how we could insert the symbols in excel sheet. For various formulae we need to insert the symbols in excel.
Suppose we need to insert a formula and we need the symbol α (alpha), β (beta) or π (pi).
Step 1
Navigate to the Symbol tab in the INSERT tab as shown below.
Step 2
Click the symbol and you will see the box as shown below containing various symbols and special characters as shown below.
Step 3
Select your desired symbol and click insert at the right bottom to use that.
Step 4
The selected alpha symbols is inserted now.
